In 1927, Rotary Club of Rangoon was founded with six clubs including Mandalay, Mawlamyaing, Taunggyi and Insein all together. In 1974, Due to a change in government policy, clubs in Myanmar were closed.
May 2014, Rotary International announced the inauguration of the Rotary Club of Yangon. 3 years later, in May 2017 Rotary International announced the inauguration of the Rotary Club of Central Yangon (RCCY) on 20th May 2017 sponsored by Rotary Club of Yangon (RCY).
Since inauguration in 2017 we apply our professional experience and personal commitment to help effective ways to enhance health care, support education, provide clean water and grow local economies.
